Top 2 TVC’s during ICC CWC,2011

The recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup saw a plethora of new advertisements, price of the air time sky rocketed. Overall viewership ratings hit all time high. The numbers were staggering, a record 65 million watched in Television and several tens of millions were glued to good old radio [ There’s no electricity so, they had to resort to the primitive methods ]. Going back to the TVC’s, here are two of my favorites commercials which I enjoyed as much as the tournament itself. I’m sure most of us loved them.

1. Nike – Bleed Blue: Nike are the official kit sponsors for Team India, they hit the right note with this sensible yet awe inspiring piece.


2. Vodafone – 3G services: Vodafone guys rock big time. This time it was the launch of their third generation mobile services, first they gave us this fantastic Ad and later followed it up with 40 days of FREE 3G services, hats off to Vodafone.
