    Little Rascal

What do you do when you get plain bored and mind doesn’t co-operate to write anything sane? ( Makes me yawn, even my little niece can’t get me excited, such a dull day ).

I was just trying to make a pirated copy of “The Social Network“. I haven’t seen it yet, way too lazy, don’t want to watch anything tonight ( more yawns ). My stupid laptop wouldn’t burn disks, instead the DVD tray is just spinning away madly. I gave up. Meantime, the little girl here has turned some what violent, she wants to comb my hair…keeps repeating kumar, kumar, kumar and I’m trying to act as if she doesn’t exist. Ok, maybe I should pause a while before she rips apart the bed cover ( Grrrrrrrr….girrrrrrlsssssss, so demanding..phewww ) [19: 38 ]

Alright. I’m back. I have little powder on my left cheek and lots more on the floor, mom would go mad once she’s back. I just sent out the little rascal home, she didn’t want to, but I couldn’t handle it anymore. Especially the slimy mango stuff that she was trying to force feed me ( yuck that ) [20:12]

Ok, before she left, she gleefully posed for the camera. Here are few snaps.

Yes, you are right, she loves to eat ( including my bheja ). It’s bye for now.

    Mobile Phone – Total Recall

The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is look at my  mobile phone, guess most of us do that. It has become a compulsive habit. I did the same this morning and something struck me – OMG! Mobile Phone. My mind traveled back in time, trying to recall all the mobile handsets which served me for an earnest period. Here is the honorary list of handsets which came, delivered and left.

Nokia 3315 – My first handset, a humble, robust piece. I still remember its sturdy body and rubbery keypad. Easy to use with no fancy apps or entertainment features, it served me well right through my B-school. Its ear shattering alarm deserves a special mention.

    Nokia 3315

LG C 3380 – My first multimedia phone. I bought this in a haste, it worked fine but no expandable memory was a major disappointment however, it gave good company.

LG KG 200 – This time it was an informed decision. I did a thorough research and bought this “Dynamite” as it was rightly branded by the makers. A power packed tiny handset which did much more than its humble size. I loved this beauty.

    LG KG 200

Nokia N81 – My first 3G phone. You have to use it to believe it. By far the best multimedia phone I ever used. Totally worth the 20K something price tag. I would say it had the best music player of its times, perhaps better than the 5th generation iPod classic. Really really enjoyed using this phone. Big thumbs up to N81.

    Nokia N81

LG KP320 – The one I bought on ebay. It was a great deal, it saved me lot of money and gave me this lovely feature rich mobile. I gave away N81 to my sis as she was keen on listening better quality music. I had a good, trouble free time with this handset. Most of my first youtube uploads were captured by this piece. Good, tidy phone.

    LG KP320

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini – The BEST mobile I ever used. Set on Android platform with dismal battery life, it is a gadget freaks delight. My sis gave away this gem before she flew abroad, such an idiot, she missed out on this smart machine. An almost perfect gadget. Great apps (most are free), brilliant music player, superb lens, exciting GUI makes this a worthy buy, it’s also worth the media hype.

    SE X10 mini

Nokia E72 – My current handset, gifted by my sis. This is a hardcore business phone and my first QWERTY mobile. Getting used to this. It’s a feature rich phone, 5.0 Mpix camera is a pleasant surprise. Music player is a dud but business features are rock solid.

    Nokia E72

Happy I used it all, candy bar to flip to slider, basic to multimedia to business, touch to keypad to QWERTY. Among all these Nokia N81 remains closest to my heart for the sheer awe factor and unbelievable performance.

Hey, what’s in your list? mind sharing

As I said, it was an amazing phone. I never had issues with it simply because I never did much with it. Phone eventually died once my sister took over, she was heavily into music and SMS mania, guess the poor mobile gave up 😛

As of 3G phones..you could get a 3G piece for as less as 6K out here..perhaps even lesser…Hail the grey market

          wow…lucky u….my n97 cost me 50+ 😦

thats it with nokias…..even tho the n-series is sposed to be geared for multimedia, it isnt built to handle overuse.

            Ok..FB badge in WordPress..

            1. Copy the FB HTML badge code ( Blv u got this )
            2. Goto wordpress -> Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets
            3. Drag the “text” widget to the “Sidebar” on the right
            4. Paste the HTML code in “text” widget
            5. Save

Give it a try, should work..that wud be 2K + 1K ( for poor arithmetic and global currency conversion ) 😛

Hi! Same thing here, the very first thing that I do when I wake up in the morning is to check my phone for any messages or missed calls. It’s already a habit, hehehe! Anyway, my very first phone was a Nokia 3210 which wasn’t really my choice but still liked it with it’s simplicity and lol, it was very big but it was ok at that time, hehehe! It was a gift from my parents. I can’t remember though the name of my second phone but it was also a Nokia, it was waterproof and the case could be removed like a box? I really can’t remember the unit, sorry. The third phone I had was the Sony Ericsson K800i. I enjoyed using this phone so much because of the quality of the photos and the sound (which is a quality given by Sony Ericsson products, great sound!) It was a gift after passing the licensure exam. Finally, my current phone which was bought using my own money now, the Nokia E72 (yes just like yours!). I really love this phone! I have the purple one – my favorite color! The features are just what I’m looking for in a mobile phone, it’s like my everyday friend, very handy!

lol, because of the features and the design… don’t you mean it’s more for a girl? 🙂
