10 reasons why I DO NOT support Anna Hazare

    1. He always wears whites, so boring, needs a makeover. Hire Manish Malhotra and give him a touch of leather and khaki.

    2. He quit smoking and drinking. Mera neta, nahi peeta? Yeh kaisa neta hai?

    3. I don’t like his eye glasses. Big B, please lend him the ones you wearing for KBC.

    4. He doesn’t have a six pack. * shaking my head *

    5. He was arrested. My school teacher had told me only bad people get arrested.

    6. He’s a poor public speaker. Mr. Obama, can you fly out your speech writer? someone out here badly needs one.

    7. He didn’t complete his schooling. Bad Kiddie. Put him into an Adult education programme.

    8. He has a big nose. Rakhi Sawant, pass on your Cosmetic Surgeons number to him.

    9. He wears a ‘Nehru’ cap. So, out of fashion. How about CSK cap? maybe Mumbai Indian’s cap.

    10. He never eats, always fasting. Girls might mistake that for a shortcut to slim down. Bad example.

Though I do not support Anna for all the above short comings. I do support his larger vision against corruption.

Cricketing battles to watch out for

With the countdown to ICC cricket world cup in its final lap, there is frenzy in the Indian media and public. This will be the last world cup for many of the games stalwarts, that gives us every reason to go insane. These Cricketers have conquered almost all Cricketing records in their playing careers and set virtually unreachable benchmarks. By the way, they aren’t finished yet, they still pose threat to their own records.ย Both the leading run getter and leading wicket taker will play their last big tournament ( It will be interesting to watch at what stage these two giants will come face-to-face ). That makes it super special for every Cricket lover go totally berserk.

Cricket is team sport however, with these legends gracing the game the stakes are much higher. Here are few mouth watering bat versus ball must watch battles.

    1. Sachin vs Shoaib – The best batsman in the world against the Rawalpindi express. These men have already provided many a memorable contests but this one is supposed to be the biggest showdown between the greats.

    2. Ponting vs Bhajji – Their rivalry dates back to 2001. Bhajji repeatedly claimed Punter’s wicket with ridiculous ease. Over the decade Bhajji consistently terrorizedย Ponting with his spin or at times lack of it. Of course, Ponting did succeed few times however, it looks like Bhajji might have the last laugh yet again.

    3. Kallis vs Muralitharan – Everyone’s asking the same question. Can Kallis get through Murali magic?

    4. Sehwag vs Steyn – The South African has invariably come out top but, this is sub-continent, hoping for a better show from Sehwag

    5. Gayle vs Lee – With Lee aspiring to end his career on a high, Will the maverick West Indian gate-crash his farewell party? Lets wait and watch.

What match-ups are you looking forward to this WC?

    My Favorite TVCs

We all are heavily exposed to TVCs aren’t we? Still very few make a lasting impression. Here are few of my all time favorite retro TVCs.

Bajaj – ‘Hamara Bajaj’ nothing can beat this classic Ad, truly iconic.

Lijjat Papad: Bunny – India’s first non-human TVC hero.

Bajaj Bulbs: Jab mein chota bacha tha (Mein toh ab bhi bacha hoon). I love this one.

Fevicol: All I can do now is have a good laugh watching this Ad. As a kid I used to be extremely fond of this Ad for some reason.

Pepsi: Everyone has there favorite Sachin Ad, this one’s mine.

    Time Travel – Year 2050

My take on what’s world going to look like at year 2050

    • iPhone 31G makes a thunderous debut at CES, Bangalore. Steve jobs launches it from his hospital bed, thanks to Cisco’s 3D teleporting version 15.0.21
    • Sachin is still the best batsman in the world. BCCI and media coaxes him to come out of retirement
    • Facebook is dead and buried in the backyards of San Jose. Zuckerberg now runs a humble coffee shop in Swiss Alps
    • Angelina Jolie has adopted half of the Somalian kids. Pitt takes care of the diapers
    • John Cena is California’s Governor. Wins summer slam against Undertaker. Public cheers him
    • Mallika Sehrawat now wears only sarees. Oh, are you serious
    • American’s struggling to get Indian work permit, cap raised to 65,000. Very high demand for hindi tutors in USA, starting salaries $5 million
    • Chinese BPO’s, speaking English, handling Indian customers. Hindi-chini bhai bhai
    • 1 Rupee = 1 Yuan = 0.1 USD
    • India beats Brazil 2-0 at FIFA WC, Indian coach says ” We are playing for the cup, nothing less will make us happy”
    • Mukesh Ambani now owns whole of Switzerland, Mumbai, Gujrat. Negotiating with Singapore, Hong kong, Ireland, Australia, Dubai for a potential take over
    • Salman Khan is still the mostย eligible bachelor. ย Meanwhile SRK remakes Kuch Kuch Hota Hai for the 3rd time
    • Andhra Pradesh is now split into 50 small states. Proposal on for the the 51st piece.
    • Osama bin Laden looses all his teeth, still remains uncaught. Media speculates he now resides in Mars
    • Rajnikanth’s Endhiran Part 7 in 4D is world’s biggest grosser.Yeah, he’s still numero uno

What do youย foresee? Have your say ๐Ÿ˜‰

i WOULD say india had a fantastic chance at the WC..the best batting line up in the world, home advantage, sachin tendulkar….everythings in place for them. what they DO need is better bowlers tho. id bet all the money I have on an england/india final.

Sufiaz..you got is right..I have mentioned abt Sachin and Batting as well. Of course iffy bowling. But you see am an Indian, I love this sport. I want to see my team. Logic can take back seat. I hope it’s a Ind-Pak final nothing can beat that ๐Ÿ™‚
